It’s been a rough last week as our shelves at our local store started to get empty. While the wet season is coming to an end, the road to Yarralin (Buchanan Highway) is still in poor condition and not yet open to vehicles above 4.5 tonne (restricted to light vehicles only). Nighthawk Transport were able to help out though, getting an exemption from DIPL to bring a truck out so that we could re-stock on much needed frozen and chilled items.

Despite getting bogged just 100m from town (but thankfully, able to wiggle himself out), the Nighthawk driver was able to get through – in spite of heavy rainfall coming through just the night before.
Our shelves are now looking much better with fresh bread, plenty of fruit and veg, drinks, and meat. Thanks to Nighthawk for putting in the extra effort and to DIPL for allowing the exemption.
